Niavaran Palace Complex is situated in the northern part of Tehran, Iran in 9000 square meters area. Niavaran Palace Complex once belonged to the royal family of Qajar. This oasis complex is consists of several parts including palaces, museums, and garden. The quadrilateral design of the palace and its interior archaeological designing is inspired by Iranian archaeology while making use of modern technology.
Qajar kings had a pleasure-loving attitude, so they built several great palaces in their capital, Tehran. So, Fathali Shah ordered to build a palace in this garden. But in 1985, Mohammad Reza Shah decided to build a brand new palace instead of the old one. At first, this palace was used to welcome foreign visitors, but eventually, the Pahlavi Family took the residence. During the years, other parts were added to the complex.

The cultural and historical complex of Saadabad covers an area of 110 hectares and is located in the refreshing foothills of Tochal and Darband. Saadabad lies from the north to the Alborz Mountains, from the east to Golabdare, from the west to Velenjak and from the south to Tajrish.
During the Qajar Dynasty (1794-1925), this area was used as a summer palace of the royal family, and after the Pash of 1921 of Pahlavi, it extended a larger area with the addition of new gardens and became the summer residence of the kings Pahlavi Dynasty (1925-1979) ), Reza Shah, Mohammed Reza Shah and their families.
Later, on various occasions, palettes and villas were added to this pallet. In the Pahlavi era, eighteen small and large palaces were built in Saadabad, exhibiting Iranian art and architecture. Sinus 1979 revolution, this plant was transformed into the museum. Two palaces, namely, the (white) palace and the green palace, are open to the public, as palace museums and other buildings have been allocated to their specialty for various types of exhibitions.

Tajrish Bazar is one of the oldest market in north of Tehran which saves it traditional environment and you can see the traditional cultures there. Tajrish Bazar is a great place to see how traditional markets look like in Tehran, from fresh fruits and vegetables to piles of Safran, traditional sweets, all kind of herbs, olives, home-made sauces, and bizarre stuff.
Lunch time will be after visiting two Complex, and you will enjoy of serving lunch in Darband by Walking up the tiny road through hundred small shops main restaurant, between lights, colours and smells of different tasty dishes.
